HELLO WORLD
Performance, one hour.
Four performers with hoodies.
Installation made of four boxes with light.
Each performer has an alarm designed for the performance on his/her phone.
When the phone starts ringing, the performer puts his/her hood, stops what he/she is doing and walks toward the box to write a text’s fragment on the box. The text disappears quickly. When he/she has finished to write the fragment of text, he/she removes his/her hoodie and comes back to his/her occupation until the next alarm. Each performer has eight fragments of text to write.
The fragments of texts come from texts written by death row inmates in the United-States.Some of the fragments written during the performance:
The queen said off with his head
Looking in the mirror I see a gleaming smile
WE ARE A WASTE OF TIME
I need it, someone to tell me that everything is going to be alright
